Finding affordable printer for few sample shirts

Help! I need an inexpensive printer for a few sample shirts to use for display and orders. I'm just starting out, with no money to fund a larger start. I want to see how the shirts would sell and thought taking orders would give me feedback on which designs sold better.

I'm an artist that would like to put my artwork on tshirts. Although many people have given me positive feedback on my art designs, I'm entering a new area by putting them on tshirts.

I appreciate any feedback you can give me.This website is OUTSTANDING! So glad I found it!:)

Everyone would love to start a business without much capital...Think about the printers position, if you don't have capital to start, then how will the inexpensive printer eat, live, pay expenses, if you cannot pay the printer what they deserve? How will the printer continue to print for you in the future? Of course you want an inexpensive printer, who doesn't?

Anyway, your best bet for a couple samples for your designs are to find a DTG printer. Expect the cost to be higher since you are only going to print small quantities. But at least it will get you started.

Pamela, I know what your asking but. If you want them screen printed, the cost to the printer is all up front. There's the same cost for screens, emulsion and setup labor for 1 shirt or 1000. You may be better off geting them DTG printed then take orders.
Good Luck, John

Yes, find someone who has a DTG printer. They should print a small quantity because they don't have to deal with prepping screens. Start with fewer designs to cut costs.
