so, after deliberating for what seems like an eternity, a curved ball was thrown to me - a DGI Omega OM60 24" servo cutter plotter plus loads of vinyl of different types and colours and software - which I've snapped up as it seemed to be a bargain price from someone closing their sign making shop down (I did some quick research on it beforehand).

Now to get it set up - fingers crossed!

after a few hours of head scratching (with no manual to reference), I got it to successfully cut some simple lettering after some minor adjustments to weight and cut depth... yay! Now onto something more complex..
