Thabks for the reply, talking to this customer while doing simple testing I came to the conclusion that I definetly needa a poly resin added to yield a good result, the only missing link now is the poly resin, im thinking something like the poly resin for cotton or 50/50 shirts work. Any thoughts on that??
This fiberglass is not used for garment production, it is mainly used for things like surfboard construction, some roofing materials and auto body repair and forming. It is is used in conjunction with a polyester resin.

Be careful to not breath in the fibers as it may cause come health issues and always use gloves when handling it.

It can be purchased online or at most auto supply store and home building centers, and of course surf supply shops.

You can also get supplies from Tap Plastic.

Here is a video on its uses:

ps, I do not work for Tap Plastics, but did go there often when I lived in California.

What is your clients final product going to be, is it a garment or something else. There are are a many types of resins, casting resin, laminating resin, finishing resin and sanding resins. Sanding and Finishing resins have wax added to prevent a sticky surface.

There are also 2 part resins and some that uses a catalyst to cure, there are also uv cure resins that uses only the sunlight.

You will have to text various combinations to get the results you are looking for.
Im not sure what his final produxt is he cant talk about it for now "so he says" the only thing I need to figure out now is to coat it and have the coating be fl3xible in order to accept the ink.
