I am considering doing some more "tourist" style t-shirts to sell wholesale. I understand this isn't likely a high margin market, so trying to keep to 2 color design.

Here is an example shirt and was hoping to get some feedback on.

For design I am hoping to get feedback on overall design, color suggestions (shirt color and design colors) and typography.

For business aspects I would like to hear "would you buy this shirt" (retail or wholesale) & how much would you pay for it,

No need to hold back, all comments welcome

I think your design is good. I think its a shirt that would get you some sales, and people wouldn't have a problem wearing on a regular basis.

I kind of agree with the prev post about making a shirt flashy to catch a tourist eye with bright colors, but I think for me it might catch my eye but wouldn't be a shirt I couldn't wear with alot of my other clothes because it was too bright. I guess that could just be me though.

Nice design.

Nice design the colors are kinda "sad" looking make it "happy" by adding come color to it for such a tropical place. Also Tourists pretty much buy anything as long as it has the name they are visiting printed on. I remember I went to San Felipe, Mexico and they were selling t shirts with CHE GUEVARA with San Felipe under it and people where buying it.

Try making "LIFE GUARD" t shirts with the name of the beach on the front. Those seem like fun novelty shirts. Just an idea.

The design looks fine, but I think your best advice will come from researching your particular market. I'm currently launching a souvenir line in New York and there are a lot of particulars regarding pricing, which shirts, shirt colors to use, size of design, likely customer, man, woman, or child, etc. What may work here may not be solid advice for your market. The tone on tone look in the image above is very good in my market where the colors are subtle and compliment the shirt, not just the design. Bright colors that grab attention are also good. But this is what you will figure out when you research your particular market.

Cool design but I'd definitely make the flamingos pink as well as color the surrounding areas the colors they'd normally be. For tourists, I'd say the more color the better. As was stated earlier, it'll look happier.

Really strong design. The colors you picked are just fine, actually really good. Just because its a "tourist" shirt doesn't mean it has to be gawdy. Everybody will have flashy, cheap looking shirts. People want classy and clean. Something they actually want to wear once they get home.

If I had one suggestion its to clean up the font on top. A script font will work but that one doesn't quite fit.
