Im going crazy when i print a red image it comes out orange
the funny thing is when i print solid blocks of magenda cyan yellow and black it prints fine can any one help me

Do a nozzle check first and make sure all are firing.

Are you preparing the artwork in RGB or CMYK mode?

Thanks for your replies yes my nozzle check is perfect i have tried in rgb and cymk with the same problem i also have changed the encoder strip could it be the ribbon cable

Are any other colors shifted or just the red? When you print other colors like purple, brown, orange, or other shades of red, do they look funky?

yes different colors of red dont look good

Wondering if you have cross contamination of inks. Pull your cartridges and see how they look, if you see any evidence of yellow ink in the magenta cartridge, or magenta ink in the yellow.

Cartridges are ok also when i print solid blocks of magenda and yellow they are ok
is there a setting in fast rip to increase the magenda saturation thanks

Did you change brands of ink? Are you using DuPont?

Hi yes i changed brand of ink i will change the ink with dupont and see thanks for the help

The other ink brand may have different color profiles. Your RIP software is color profiled to DuPont ink.
