We're looking to move into the large format printers, for primarily two reasons. 1) Cost of ink savings 2) To cut down on clogs and maintaince issues like we have been experiencing with our workforce 7010 printer. We briefly considered the Epson 4800, which we could save on ink with, but it is not pressurized so I don't think that would fix our clogging issues.
That leaves us large format printers 22"-44". We're wanting the best balance of operating costs and inks with speed. Speed is very important to us because it will be going into a high-production area, but the printer also needs to be simple enough we can train staff on it. We will be doing a wide variety of sublimation from soft to hard substrates.
Enough details, dying to hear your recommendations! What printers would you recommend and why?
