ez-film screen abrasion

1201 Views 6 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  ScreenFoo
Just ordered some ex-film to try out, ulano mentions mechanical abrasion of the screen to help the bond. Is there something i can use to do this without having to place an order for one of the products they mention (don't want to wait). Is the abrasion part necessary based on current users opinions ?
Thanks

Thats what i was hoping for, something i already have, thanks
If you do, you should barely brush it around and be sure to rinse it completely off, as well as you can.

Comet is EXTREMELY coarse compared to what is recommended. Not to say you can't use it, but you're hunting moths with a shotgun...
Not sure what is recommended for ez but we had give a good scrub for green and amber otherwise the film wouldn't stick.

Looking into it, this is a very interesting product.
