Haven't used it, but 90 day limited warranty? It might be a great press but you can get cheaper presses if you're willing to settle for a 3 month warranty.
Exhuma makes me think of exhuming dead bodies. Maybe a great unit, but....

Warranty and tech support DO make a major difference. I'd go for a used hotronix or geo knight myself. OOpppsss... we did just that!! 6 times in fact. Now starting to convert the fleet over to fusions.

We sell the Exuma so I won’t make and recommendation one way or another, but the press is supported by Hotronix and obviously us.

Hi Cland. This is my very first post and was just checking out the same Exuma that you were. Did you ever get it?. If so, how do you like it?. I was also looking at a very similar one at HPN. 1 Year warranty and the same price. I haven't made up my mind yet, but knowing it has Hotronix name behind it, might sway my decision. Good luck
We have the Exuma. I was hoping someone else here could offer feedback. Burned out right past the 90 day warranty. Hotronix will NOT stand behind it. We called. In fact the 90 day starts the day the retailer receives it, not the day the end buyer receives. We are now doing damage control by tring to figure out how to get a press operational with orders in queue. :(

If it is a warranty advertised to the end buyer, what you're saying violates consumer protection laws.

Who did you purchase the press from? I could not find and of your details in your profile so could not look anything up. PM me your details and I'll see what is going on. Sorry about the issues.

I've had mine just under 90 days, and I'm having issues. The temperature reading is off, and the knob to adjust the pressure fell off! It's now pretty much impossible to adjust the pressure....not good. I'm thinking I should have gone with a better model.
@casemakerbyday - I believe I just received your information about an hour ago and have contacted the manufacturer for you. They should be contacting you shortly to determine what can be done. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience - please let us know if there's anything else we can help with!
@josiekat - The warranty on this press actually begins when YOU receive the press, not when we do. I'm sorry if there was any misunderstanding or confusion. Each Exuma press comes with a 90 day warranty when the customer receives the press.

Manufacturer gave me instructions on how to repair the knob. Thanks!
Just another follow up....both Coastal and Hotronix gave great support. They both worked to make sure I got the issues fixed, especially Coastal which has followed up several times. Very happy with their service. My machine was literally days inside the 90 day frame though. I'm sure Coastal would have still provided help, not sure about Hotronix.

That being said...still not thrilled that the knob fell off. I had to repair it myself. The temp was also off by 30 degrees, but they gave me instructions to recalibrate it. I'm sure all machines go through this at some point. I'm just a bit disappointed it all happened so soon. The press clamps down slightly unbalanced. When I put paper under all 4 corners, the top right corner always has less pressure and allows me to pull the paper out.

If I could do it all over again, I think I would have splurged and bought a nicer press. Still, it has gotten the job done for a very low startup price.

I got an Exuma and it stopped heating up after 5 months and I have
Lots of orders to fill with no way to fill them, I spoke with manufacturer and they asked me to take panel off, no wires were fried or disconnected, I was then told I need a voltage meter to read the machine, I don't have one so now I'm on standstill
