hello...so I'm a newbie at this and I need some help. I can't burn the image onto the screen. I have done it twice already and nothing. The 1st time, the emulsion was too thick: left the screen expose to the time for about 40 minutes and you could see the image but it didnt full wasted out. So I re-did it...The 2nd time I put a stronger light and the image was barely showing compare to the 1st time so I burn it again and the glass exploded because it was too hot...

Also on the 2nd time....I was getting ready to coat the screen with the emulsion, had the bottle open and ran out to get something, someone walk in after me n turn the light on....so I don't know if the light ruin the emulsion in the bottle....I need some help!...The emulsion is pre-mixed...

Whoa!
Ok, first, when you coat your screens, you want it to be thin. You want to use a scoop coater and want to hear the squeak sound when you move up the screen. Check for videos on youtube, especially by Ryonet (silkscreeningsupplies.com) for technique.

Next, what kind of light are you using?
And, it definitely sounds like your light is too close to your screen and glass.
Also make sure that your glass does NOT have any UV coating. If it does, it will be very difficult to expose your screens.

Yes, your emulsion in the bottle was most likely ruined from the light. You could certainly test it though with coating another screen.
Another potential issue could be that your emulsion is old and not exposing well.

Also, make sure that when you coat your screen, you must let it dry completely before you try to expose it. At least overnight......longer if you live in a humid area.
