Hi,
I have rescently been given a box of 15watt blacklight bulbs.

I was wondering if anyone knew how many I would need to make
an A3 sized exposure unit, or if it would just be easierto use another type of light source all together.

Thanks.

Are they black/purple in color (when not turned on)? Those are not really the ones you want. If they are whiteish looking, then they are the right type.

How long are they? Comfortably long enough to span the full width of your screens?

I used 4, 40w (T12, I think?) tubes. It worked, but was underpowered. Even if you have a dozen free 15w tubes, you'll need to buy fixtures for them all. Better, I think, to go with fewer but more powerful tubes. I would do maybe 7 or 8 x 40w, if using tubes again.
