It's difficult, you are asking the programme to invent data. You can add pixels, but the colours of the pixelss will be at best a guess.
I saw a video on You Tube which did this but could not find the details of the programme.

What's the format & resolution of the t-nail? The higher the res, the better the enlargement.
A 120P x 120pixel is 96 x96 res.
Hope that helps
i dont think so. as stated above you would need to recreate the existing image. although i wouldn't doubt someone out there has attempted to create such software but the limitations would be in the detail of the image.

Glen, the video you linked features experimental software that is not readily available. Plus, to make use of it you have to have the original, hi-res image to begin with.

There's Genuine Fractals which uses proprietary formulas to "create" the pixels when enlarging an image but even that isn't very good, the details it creates are sharp but they're blob-like, not very fine.

Your image is simply too small, there's nothing usable in it.
A big thing is how many colors the thumb your trying to make bigger is. Its going to be crazy hard in gimp. But if you have Illustrator it could be a few clicks if the thumb is only 1-4 colors or so.
Speaking of fractals if you search on the web there are some excellent pics to sample.
I tried the web site but no luck guess they ran out of money but ii think there is a market for a good programme.
