Hello, Neo family I am having a serious problem with error code 0001001D. I have read all the past postings on this subject and still no luck. To date I have
• Cleaned the encoding strip several times
• Checked the sensor by capping station.
• Cleaned rails.
• Cleaned gears underneath spit station.
And I continue having the same problem? Is there something I am missing? Any suggestions I am willing to try . Need help Need some advice.

This code has come up on me several times. 9 out of 10 it has to do with the sensor near the end of the encoder strip (capping station side). It is located above the belt gear and sometimes can be bumped out of place when removing or replacing the belt. I would check that area first. Check your encoder strip too.

Found that the plastic arm that controls and moves the wiper blade had come off so the wiper blade was just staying under the print head simply just clipped it back in done a couple of simple cleans and all good working fine again.

And/or

Check the sensor that is located near the belt gear. Look near the end of the encoder strip where the carriage sits. You will need to release the carriage to access the sensor. Sometimes it can get bumped when removing/installing the belt and become misaligned causing
this error code.

Usually if I get that error code it was because the carriage sensor was misaligned. If you move the print carriage away from the capping station you will see a small sensor near the belt gear - look near the encoder strip. Verify that it is “snapped” into the machine completely and see if that fixes your issue.

Yep, nice info Stitch-Up :)

I would also unlock head and move to center of carriage and then turn ON printer - notice how head moves
back into capping station area. It should be smooth, deliberate and not jerky. Note when it finally gets
to capping station, when does the error pop up?

2Hello everyone, first time posting here.
I'm having the same problem but mine started after I removed the cr motor to test another machine. I position the printhead in the middle and it returns smoothly back to the station, then does what seams like 2 attempts to release itself from the station, then gives the error.

I also discounted the 52 and 53 cables, from the side of the machine not from the mother board, and accedently turned it on with cables disconnected, powered it off and reconnected them after checking them for numbers to replace them on the other machine. Not sure if removing the motor and reinstalling it caused the issue or disconnecting the cables.
Any help for me?
