I've been lookin' into investing into some more shirt equipment right now all I have is a cheap MH-871 vinyl cutter from USCutter and a no name heat press I bought on ebay. They both work great but I think it's time to invest a little more and get more equipment. But what I'm stuck at is which way I should go....I've looked at dye sublimation systems and those white laser toner systems. I know I don't have the room for screen print equipment and I don't have the cash for a DTG or anything like that. Now I know that (Dye Sub & White Laser Toner) systems are expensive for the start ups but it's not that much compared to DTG's or other stuff.

Now if anyone has any suggestions on which way to go or just any suggestions then I would greatly appreciate it a lot.

Thanks in Advance,
Squewheet

I have checked out the 3110 myself but have reservations due to the maximum width of an 8.5" sheet of paper. If it doesn't print off the edge then you have to plan on a margin restricting the maximum image width less than that.

Well the price range i've been looking at is around 1,000 to 8,000. But i've really considered dye sub but what is holding me back is that your limited on what colors of apparel you can print on......expecially darker colors!

Have you considered taking that cash and putting it down on a lease for better equipment? For a little more you could be using a rhinestone machine or even a reconditioned DTG. Even a new direct to garment printer would have pretty low monthly payments.

Yeah I have considered that.....but I've heard that dtg machines can be a hassle / very costly once they break down. Also on DTG's dont you have to be running those everyday.
