Hello,

I'm in the process of leasing embroidery machine worth $19k, and needing an insurance for it.

I can't get a hold of any good quote for my situation.

Any suggestion?

1. Add the equipment to your business package policy covering the other equipment in your shop.

2. Or, if you work from home add it to your homeowners policy.

3. Or, everybody and their brother has a small business package insurance plan; Allstate, State Farm, Farmers, Hartford, etc. What issues are you having?

I don't have much other equipments as of now and was just wanting a equipment insurance only.

I don't think I need liability insurance for the business, since I am the only worker and customers will not be visiting my home.

Do I need liability insurance for the business?

Yes. Your biggest exposure is product liability.

Add business exposure to your homeowners policy including the equipment and you're set.

Anatol Equipment only manufactures screen printing machines - would think the manufacturer would have an idea...does the leasing company require insurance for the amount loaned? Would think that $ amount along with any shipping, install expense (plus your downpayment, if required) is the minimum to get insurance for and most insurers will be glad to speak with you. . Sorry I can't be of further assistance

Yeah, the leasing company asked about insurance on the machine, which makes sense.

BTW, I got a quote on the insurance for $287 for 12 month term, about $24 mothly.

You'll need liability insurance for your business, you can find different quotes locally depend on where you live, you'll find many companies who will give you good quotes according to your business
