I'm interested in making a DTG printer. I found an Epson Stylus printer and I'm interested if it can be converted into one. And what RIP software would be used.

no but, new epson r2000, from time to time, refurbished, you can buy from epson in 350 usd, this is good price,
then print head. you know diffrence between r1800 and r2000 print heads.
then many rips fit fot r2000, for exampl ek.
then originale cartriges on ebay and printer, new, without print head, costs 30-40 usd. on amazon 10- 20 usd.
parts you can buy in good price on ebay.
dumpers and refilable carts the same price as r1800, r1900.
