Simple, if it does not have "Durabrite" logo on the unit it does not use pigment ink.
Darn!
I just checked my printer and it has Dye based ink in it... it does not have the "durabrite"
I looked online at epson... and only certain models come with durabrite..

I'm wondering if I can just buy a different brand of ink (instead of epson)
with the durabrite and use that in my printer instead of having to buy a new printer.
Any suggusetions?
Thanks

You can try MagicMix ink: http://www.personalizedsupplies.com/archivalinks.htm (check with them to see if it will work with your printer).

I checked out this site, would I be able to use this in on my printer?
If I inject the ink into the cartilages? Would that work?

Thanks for all your help.

I would contact personalizedsupplies.com directly and ask them if their ink will work with your printer. From what I hear, the customer support there is great, so they should be able to answer your question for you.
Ok Thank you. I emailed them and I'm waiting for their reply.. I guess they dont have a phone# to call.

Thank you.
