I had to clean my Epson l1800 printhead for the first time, because of number clogs in the colors, and some printing issues, since my printer hasn't been used while I've been sick.... I carefully disassembled the bracket where the print head is, and put everything back the way it was intended to be. It prints... but it does not print images, instead is just prints all the colors in.. the form of what the images should be...? I mean it's pretty dummy proof to put everything back the way it should be- but when I undid it all again to make sure, the small plug in for the data cable has a pin that looks like it was damaged before, could that be the issue?

Mine did same 6 months back. The F1 fuse had got short, you can see some videos on youtube & do a DIY if you know a little bit of soldering. Or else call your maintenance guy & ask him to bypass the F1 fuse, should be a 15 mins job.
