The DF folks tell me not to even have GC and DF installed on the same computer because of the way they share printer drivers and queues.

I run Df on a PC and GC on a Mac.

Thanks for your response. Epson finally called and either there is a problem with the design. But, most likely a conflict with the Garment Creator software with some other software on my computer. They had me save the design to a thumb drive and print directly from it. It seems to have worked!!! The GC softwear is up to date. I previously tried printing from a 3' and 6' USB cable and an ethernet connection.

My guess is that there is a problem with the design. I have had it happen to me 4 or 5 times myself with Garment Creator, just not that exact same error message.

Usually had to redo the artwork or rework it somehow.

If you want to upload it here I am sure one of us could take a look at it for you.

Agree on the possible software conflict. Try shutting all your other programs off when you're using Garment Creator on your computer and see if the error message ever shows back up. We have hundreds of F2000 customers communicating with our support department and that error code has not come up.

Thanks for all your help. It seems that I'm having problems with one of my clients designs. I've printed one of the designs several times without issue, until the other day. I've had my client redo one his designs and I'm still had problems until I put the design on a thumb drive and all seems to be OK. Didn't know I needed to be an IT specialist!!

I had it happen to me just today. I always keep my layered .psd files of the design on my computer for this reason (as well as a few others).

I opened up the .psd file, saved a copy as a .png, trashed the old .png file, threw the new one on my usb flash drive and I was printing away.

The photoshop files seem to get corrupted sometimes when going from computer to usb stick/usb hard drive to computer.

On rare occasions there is something in the photoshop file that the DTG software just doesn't like also. That is when you have to dissect the artwork bit by bit and figure out what part of it is corrupt.

This seems to happen sometimes with customer supplied artwork.

it's not an issue with the F2000 or Garment Creator. It happens to me in Illustrator sometimes too.

Always recommend that when you seem to have an issue doing a print, and it's new artwork, the best way to troubleshoot it before you spend time exploring all other avenues is just try a test print using other artwork that you have already successfully printed with.

Were you able to solve this issue? Any tips?
Would you still choose the Epson F2000?

The hard part was i printed for a guy who is gonna resale his shirts. So i only charged him 9$ a shirt. The white ink was at level 2 and 100. Im still new but from what i just went threw this is not worth it. Im looking to get a rip. Im hoping that will help.
