Not tried it, but the ink set is different - replaces lightC & lightM with red and grey inks. Also to the best of my knowledge there are no replacement refillable carts available yet. You will be stuck with Epson Ink for the foreseeable future, whichinEurope at least is dye based.

I heard that this printer is the replacement for the Epson artisan 1430. My question is anyone purchased this unit and does to compare to the 1430? Better or Worse?
