Re: New - InkJet SOFT-FEEL

hi, i bought an epson c88 a few days ago and am having trouble getting the red to be less orangey, and the colours look a bit dull. Do you have any advice. I also ordered the soft feel paper which should be here tomorrow, can you give me any tips or advice on using it as I am new to transferring and feel a bit nervous about the soft feel. I use cotton lycra ( I make dog t shirts) so I thought this would be perfect as it stretches. Thanks Lorraine -

Hi Lorraine

Change setting for your printer as follows:
Magenta +5
Cyan +5
Yellow -20

Once you click print go to advance settings to change to this setting, try that and see if you get a better print.
Thanks, I needed that too.
b4 I go and change this, does the type of paper matters? And will it make a big difference in the out come?

I use the text/photo setting for printing and leave the paper setting at normal paper. You don't want to saturate your paper to much.
I have a C88+ that I just purchased and am still trying to get the settings where I want them.
I tried the settings recommended by suzieh in the "Epson printer settings" thread which were +5 cyan, +5 magenta and -15 yellow and found that my design looked very washed out.
I'm finding that the "text/photo" and "photo" settings with paper setting left on plain white are working best (but I'm still tinkering).
