Hi, Looking for opinions re. .epsonb1100..Can this printer be used for printing transfers and screen positives.I,m thiking on buying one.Good idea or not.All opinions would be much appreciated.

I'm a dealer, I don't really go below A2, the Epson 4450 usually. We do films for A4/A3/A3+ printers, but mainly to people who already have their printers.

I got the B1100 last month martin and I have been using it for transfers since then and I have to ay Im very happy with the output, especially considering the price of the printer. I also installed a CIS system so my ink costs have shot right down. Im planning to start printing positives soon and I don't see there being a problem as the blacks that I have printed have been very clear and dark. Hope this helps..

Should have asked you on previous post Phil.What type of transfer paper do you use?Is it the same paper for lights.darks etc.

Hi Martin,

Ive been using JPSS for my lights and they come out great. For darks I've been trying few different ones but I would recommend Jet Opaque. Both can be found at Yolo.co.uk . I've tried another paper for darks but cant remember the name right now, doh! I'll let you know if I remember
