I know this isnt the right thread to post troubleshoot help.. But it's viewed more than the "screen printing" thread..

I recently got a Epson 4800, finally i upgraded from my HP 5000 11x17 laser..
I'm very blind by the whole ink jet deal.. I thought i was doing good until my first film came out..
I loaded my 13in across roll media into the printer, no problems; I followed a helpful tutorial video; I had went into the printers settings and told the printer the media is 17 across (i was told by the video it should always be 17 across even if it isnt, just because thats your biggest print media).. I had also played with the paper settings, i put in premium gloss photo paper..

I opened photoshop to run a test film, I went to my page setup and it was automatically set to 11x17...the options didn't show "user defined size" or roll media.. I then went to my print menu where you can scale your image out to how big you want it before you print, it showed 11x17 EVEN WHEN selecting the new Epson printer...I Xed out and went back to my page setup; NOW it reads roll media, size user defined...weird..
I thought i had it good now!!!! nope..
I went to my print menu again where it shows the image scaled to the media; it still said 11x17 at the top, even when my art is 13x19 and the paper setting says user defined...

Any help would be amazing, i was planning to get some films done tonight, but i don't see that happening

Attached is how my films are coming out

Double check all your settings make sure that nothing else is selected. Also if you do a print preview your settings will reset if you actually apply them. I set my paper to what roll size im using. If 14x11 that's what i print and cut. Also make sure if your landscape or portrait. Hope that helps

Change your printer to landscape and always set paper to proper size so that it shows properly in you print preview.

Change the width to size of film roll you have. This will put the image in you print preview correctly so then you can use the oritation that best suits you needs.

Thanks for your help! I went into the printers settings and changed it to 13 across and printed perfect! The ladies video i watch said always keep it at 17in
Don't do this as when printing it looks like you printed off your film and ink will end up in your printer. Always choose the size of roll your using
