Hi I have had my epson 1430 for about 3 months. It has been working fine until now. I printed an image for a tile the image seems fine. But when i try to print mug designs like a photo on one side and text on the other i cant seem to get a clean print. The bottom of the photo looks like it has smeared i didnt notice on the print until i had pressed a mug which i thought i had bleeding until I looked at the prints. I had done a head clean and nozzle check is fine. Like I said It has been fine until now.

On one of my mug prints I have a photo on one side and different coloured text on the other the top orange words had bled and the bottom purple words..I tried printing again and it happened on the photo and the bottom of the text. the image itself looks good..i managed to press a good mug as it had a photo on both sides and i was able to trip the smeared area. Im so confused why this is happening. Any help will be appreciated. I hope Im not due for a new printer!

Pictures..... Too much explaining about different things happening and it's confusing, at least to me. I'm having mixed feelings here lol.

I'm guessing the main issue here is your actual prints are coming out smeared? Could be gunked up printhead? Cleaning the underside of the print head could help. There are several videos that show how to do this correctly. If you do a lot of head cleans, printhead gunk WILL build up underneath it.

I did ramble a little lol
the main issue is....the easiest way to explain would be that i have over spray on the edges of my photos and some of the coloured text, black is fine. Its very hard to notice if i took a photo, looks much worse when I sublimate it on to a mug. I sent a photo to my ciss supplier, his answer was the magenta is overspraying and the head is stuffed

I assumed it was a dirty head...so i tried to clean the head ect. So i bought another printer and the same thing is happening. Ive searched on you tube ect...all say head its a head issue.
I did notice there was some air bubbles in the yellow ink line.

If 2 printers are doing this then it’s most likely the CISS or the ink. Bad sublimation ink will splatter. It will seem to get worse the more it prints.

If you have air in the yellow there is a leak. On several Ciss I had to dab some silicone around the tubes by the cartridge portion to prevent leaks.
