Thanks to all forum members (Geman etc). I have finished my dtg . You have some pictures of the construction. I will go up some with the machine over. the paper sensor I have not moved, I left in his place. I have attached a small piece or pvc for when the tray go inside, activate it when the first test runs.
I'll upload more pictures.

Thank you. kueenh (Jesus)

guys
c88 diy dtg working printer - YouTube,
check my second built 1400 Epson click the 4th one . I used a second frame of 1400 to be able to use the back eject and the front eject roller it helps a lot to move the platen which is a bigger than c88 one shaft is using a rubber and another one is coated for friction use ( will have good friction if u will use cork ). The motor is rigidly attached to the second frame with the assembly so there is no shaking and well aligned , every thing is intact . the ASF mechanism is attached to the original frame, only the back part is cut to allow the platen to pass through below ( the asf shaft is not cut ) and the PW is not disable ..only the cd/dvd sensor is tripped ( by priest suggestion )
good luck guys and more power to everybody .

Hello Kueenh, a very good job with wood :) (sorry for my English) in Europe is difficult to get the R1900 (Discontinued), the R2000 and the new 1430 with EK RIP I not find that the RIP is 100% compatible in the forum, so I'm interested in buying the 1400 and now that the 1430 came out, there are good prices now for the 1400

you've tested with the EK RIP, RIP or other, to make a white underbase as first layer for printing on dark garments a second layer of color?

I read some articles that roll mode by not having the 1400, single sheet mode, you must move the platen to the beginning and press the button to continue the printing of the second layer (color) or I think also occurs for example if you multiple print jobs sent straight to make several shirts
as say german13 in http://www.t-shirtforums.com/diy-dtg/t120740-71.html#post835822

but also in other articles I've read there are problems and that does not appear aligned

would be helpful reply , greetings and thanks in advance.

I'll try the white ink as a base this week, the printer is already finished. I think you're right and that is that once you print the white base to reposition the dish to the top and print the color layer, the printer does not automatically, I think. Now tell me how you're going with the printer and if you know any way to do it automatically.
I hope that the images match.
keep talking.
Thank you.
I am also in Europe.

I have not started reading took quite a while and maybe this week beginning with the wood if I find time, but hopefully can help you, I'm just wondering to buy the 1400 because it seemed to me to read in a forum thread of the second layer is somewhat more complex than others (not impossible) but without a roll mode function of the 1400 (I think from the 1900 or higher if) the way in sheet print mode is
then the sensor and the movement of the carriage works differently and think you have to turn off the printer and turn on it to start working from the same point at which you made the white layer, it makes a series of movements and dragging the garment and begins printing on the other hand the second layer

I think there is something called "Friction Drive" but I have not gotten to know it is (my English is very bad use much the translator ...) and that solves the problems of the second layer in the 1400 or printers without roll mode

I've left the back entrance of paper, but you have to get the paper sensor and place it in the bottom tray. iwantsomething is hard to fool these sensors. I leave the PE sensor mounting it on the bottom and the paper sensor in the bottom tray. tomorrow I'll upload some pictures so you can see the sensor.
I'm still waiting for the white ink to make the first test on black shirt

The first photo is the paper sensor, is not the tab that activates and deactivates. The second photo is the paper feeder that I have left in place because it was very difficult to dismantle. And the third picture is clear what it is.
Now the problem I have it with white ink, which does not cover enough tissue and is not completely white.

Anyone know it can be?
Have the same problem?
