I was thinking to convert an Epson 1290 instead of a 1400 or B1100 for for the white ink because it has roller mode and bigger nozzles (4 pl) but reading the service manual I noticed that it doesn't have a separated motor to drive the pump, wiper, etc. of the Ink System. I guess it uses the ASF motor as other smaller printers. If I disassemble the printer do I need to keep all the ASF mechanism? Anyways, is it possible to convert?
