Hi ,

I am new to screen printing and will get my kit tomorrow . I am doing it for my own clothing line .

I will be using permaset aqua inks and just wanted some advice on what emulsion would be good and where to buy it from ????

Saati PHu is decent or Mirikami emulsion email me [email protected] if you have any questions on the emulsions. Most vendors should carry them.

I use Ulano 925WR and haven't had any issues. On the permaset website they reccomend sericol Dirasol 916, KIWO PolyPlus SRX, Ulano LX-660, and Chromaline CP-TEX. As for buying I would imagine most vendors carry at least once of those.

The 925 is excellent too!

Try some of this Amex Dual Emulsion 1kg from Dave Roper.

It's a really good all round emulsion for water based, discharge or plastisol ink at a good price.

You might want to post harden after you've exposed and dried the screen off depending on your exposure unit/system when printing with water based inks.
