Hello! I am new,
I am in HUGE need of Tshirts for my fundraising event. I am hosting one in Sept.2014 that will raise money for the only non-profit research foundation in the world for my brain disease.
I need just plain black, blue, or green.
Hanesbrand has donated a little bit but I still need more just plain then Ill add the logos.
I am contacting you in regards to "A walk for a cure of IIH" (idiopathic intracranial hypertension)- a rare brain disease I suffer from; that I have planned
for the Saturday, September 13 2014 at Midway UMC in Lexington, NC in and out of the CFC Building.
This is a 3rd party fundraiser and all the proceeds go to the IHRF [www.ihrfoundation.org] which can be confirmed through them & I. The reason I am
reaching out is because I am having the trouble of running into monetary businesses
saying that since this is such a rare condition, they cannot at this time approve my
request.
However, I have a lot of determination which is the reason I am pushing so hard to
make my fundraising event a success because these companies are right. There is
little to no research available for my brain disease which gives an even better
reason to help donate to this cause in hopefully one day finding a cure.
I am attaching several letters below, one being a sponsorship letter and the other a
brochure to explain the fundraiser itself. The reason I seek sponsorship is because
as said above there is SO little known about this and we have very little
treatments, and with there being only one non profit research organization in the
world, I want to do everything in my power to raise awareness and help find us a
cure.
I was advised to contact your company for donation because others have recommended
that they have had success in your will to help others and their medical condition.
As this doesn't profit me in any way, it will help the foundation have funds to
continue their research.
Please if you will, take a moment to read the Attached forms and let me know if
there is anything you can do to help me in my race for a cure of something so little
known about.
In the letters there are links to my interviews with both the High Point Enterprise,
and WBTV/CBS affiliated out of Charlotte,NC and my Facebook awareness page I created
with over 1900 likes now! I was also be featured on Fox8, WGHP out of the triad in
NC, news on February 27th, 2014 on the 10:00pm show to raise awareness; there is also a Link for that!
The first week of March, 2014 I will have another interview @ 9:30 with WXII out of Winston-Salem NC to raise awareness which will air when they tell me.
