Embroidery Software Recommendations

Hi All- I just took over an Embroidery shop that was using pirated software. Everything they did was created in either "Drawings" or "Tajima DGML by Pulse". I know nothing about them. But I want to be on the up and up and buy software and own it outright. With knowledge of the above, what would be some recomendations?
