Direct embroidery is faster and cheaper if you already know what you will be applying them to. Use patches if you don't know yet what you will be putting them on.
Embroidering vs making patches
I'm thinking of either embroidering directly on the garment or making patches and sewing them on...size = 4x4...Which would be more convenient and save more $$$???
