Hello all,

This is my first post. I'm just starting in the t-shirt industry and am looking for a cheap quality program to edit my art. I have a Mac Book Pro. Any recommendations?

LOL. I co-sign the Photoshop and Illustrator recommendation. Definitely not cheap, but in my opinion, they're the best. The other possibility is Corel Suite which has a vector application, Corel Draw, and a raster application, Photopaint, and the total cost is less than the cost of just photoshop. Corel Suite is around $429.00. The price is right, but lacks some key tools that I use daily for tee shirt design and color separations work.
corel if your just doing spot color stuff. photoshop and illy if your going to be doing full color stuff, process, and simulated process stuff

I've yet to come across ancient sayings on open source software though :p Try inkscape.org
