Eco sol max ink not drying

1735 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Industryps
The ink for my Roland SP540I is not drying proberly. I went from using eco sol max 3 to eco sol max and I have tried everything but it is causing bubbles and ink to be tacky. I use roland versaworks.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

What material are you printing on and have you had success in the past printing on the same material with the older inks?
You might also want to see if there are different profiles available for the new ink if you haven't already. Could be that the new ink needs less coverage than the old ink did.

I am using a glossy self adhesive. I used to use eco sol max 3 and never had any problems!

I downloaded an ICC Profile for the vinyl but it was just doing the same thing.
The only time I've experienced this w/ those inks is when printing on something that wasn't eco-solvent compatible.

Solvent and latex printing vinyls-LG 3 year monomerics for flat sides

This is the vinyl I am using, the LD2700G
I wish I knew what to tell you, it seems like it should be compatible. Perhaps you got a bad roll? Do you have any of the previous ink set left to switch back and see if that will properly dry on your media?
