I just installed an Easy Flow III for sublimation on my Epson 1290. The thing it doesn't mention and that I'm curious about is, do I ever need to recap the ink wells with the rubber stoppers or do I just leave the little filter caps on permanently?

Here is a screen shot of how your system should look when installed.

Keep the rubber stopper on hand. You will need them should you ever have to transport it to another location.
