I'm banging my head against the wall here!
I've searched every way that I can think of and I just can't find anything close to an answer.
I've got a polyester vendor tent and I'm trying to sublimate my logo and website on it. I can't figure out what time, temp and pressure to make this happen. I'm not interested in trying to retail these I just want to do my own.
I'm only about 2 months into sublimation so I'm still trying to feel my way around.

Thank you in advance!!

If noone else chirps up, I'd say do it the same as normal, but a little longer.

The temps open up the fibers and vaporize the inks. Ink vaporization does not change, so just poly fibers.

The pressure is just there for positive contact.

Why not try printing a small black square on the roof of the tent to test. If it comes out brown, you need to adjust. If black, you should be good to go.

If this tent is going to be used outdoors, I would recommend a different method of decoration, as the dye sub will fade in the sun after a while. Screen printing or outdoor vinyl might be better options.

I UV tested my sublimated polyester fabric by leaving it on the dashboard of my car for 6 months. The car is in direct sunlight for 8+ hours everyday and there is no noticeable fading when I hold it up to a new one.

Maybe some substrates tend to fade more than others, but if the tent is pure poly I bet it will hold the color just fine.

My board shorts have faded and I wear them every day in the Caribbean.

Did you cover up half the design when you left it in the sun? The material in my shorts that was hemmed over is much brighter than the rest of the material that was exposed
