I'm dye subbing these polyester shirts and so far it's been fine until I use a pillow on the small shirts. I lowered the pressure a lot so it could close and when I pull it back up and lift off the transfer paper it creates these faded lines in the middle of the design, has anyone had this problem before?

My settings are:
370 degrees
30 seconds
medium pressure

May be voids from your pillow. Do you have a harder insert you can use like a cutting board, or cookie sheet?

I use a pad (basically same stuff as the rubber pad on the bottom of the press, but cut to a smaller size) for this sort of thing rather than a pillow. Seems to give more consistent results with sublimation.

EDIT With a pad that is smaller than your heat platen, you will also avoid those crease marks you got with the pillow (same would be true with a smaller pillow).
