I tried searching for an answer first but I couldn't find my answer. I was hoping someone could help me out. I'm pretty new into the DIY DTG scene and I'm starting my build soon but first I wanted to get all my supplies in order. I am looking into a CIS system for my r1800, but am wondering if I need a pigment or dye CIS.

If it were me i would buy a dtg specific/ ciss bagged ink system with dampers.. I reccomend PrintsRite Bagged Ink System for Digital Direct-to-Garment Printers

Talk to these guys and they will set you up with what you need.. do it right starting out and never do it again

P.s you will need a seperate reset chip for your 1800..
