It is pigment ink, but the OEM ink tends to shift color balance when heat pressed. You can either attempt to compensate for that by tweaking your image and/or print settings, or use a third party pigment ink (like Cobra) that is made for heat pressing.

I think the only really difference between those printers is the price, and that the 7210 is just a printer: no photocopying, etc. I went with the 7210 and Cobra ink in refillable carts. Cobra provides color profiles for use with transfer papers and such.

Ahhh, I don't even think I'm concerned at all about copying and faxing, etc. I just need to print. Any suggestions for good suppliers for Cobra ink? I don't even know what OEM ink is. So you'd say to not use the ink that comes with the printer?

Cobra ink is the supplier of "cobra ink". Just type their name in google and it should be the first result. Just order a set of refillable cartridges with refill bottles. Make sure you pick the correct ink type (Pigment) and the correct cartridge number.
