How do I know if it's gone bad, what am I looking for? Someone in my house unfortunately moved it out of the fridge and on a shelf in the garage 😞
The weather heres been cold hot cold hot so how does this type of emulsion react when stored too hot or too cold? If I try to expose it to see if it's salvageable what might I expect?I don't want to ruin a screen by using bad emulsion so if would make it un-reclaimable then I don't want to risk that and would rather take the loss but if I could test it and it just doesn't expose or something then ya know worth a shot.

If it has expired, it will not expose and will all wash out. No harm done. It is the photosensitive that expires, as with old-school photographic film.

Okay awesome thanks! Also what about if i go to wash out and turns out i inder exposed? At that point should i try to reclaim or should i expose for longer?

usually a small air leak in the container will ruin it.

Try out a screen, expose it and finish then see if there are small specs on the screen.

If so, it is bad. We always store in air tight container in a temperature controlled area.
