We are trying to decide which would work better DTG vs Screenprinting. We will be doing alot of school shirts with mascots.

What is the overall difference of the look of the shirt?
Does DTG look like screenprinting? How does it compare?

Thanks!

DTG printing has no "hand" (you can't really feel the design on the t-shirt).

I think DTG is still in the "development" phase in regards to printing on black/dark shirts. It can be done with some DTG printers, but not to the same vibrant color levels as screen printing.

You could probably print a digital photograph better with a DTG printer than screen printing.

School art/mascots would work well with screen printing.

You can read more about DTG printers and see examples in our DTG section of the forum: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=39
