Hi All,

Im looking at buying a DTG printer in the very near future and A) im looking to see if anyone has one for sale B) does anyone have reccomendations on which one to go for as they all seem to be pretty similar and C) How durable are the prints on black garments?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks,

t-jet 2 which is the same as the kiosk, waste of time. Based on a £200 10 yr old epson 2100, so $8000's is a hell of a mark up. Went through 3 printheads in 6 months. Colours bleed unless you treat the t-shirts first which takes even more time. It's finally packed in and no power going to the machine. Its now scrap metal taking up space in my garage.

Don't buy one unless you want to waste £6k, they are all crap. All they are is ripped ancient epson printers. Colours don't last wastage is huge and time consuming. They really are useless.
6K ? seems cheap is that what you spent on it or what it cost you .
They are not all epson,
We own a anajet MP10 fast and easy, only had it 8 weeks but up to now no issues, wash tested about 20 variants of prints and most beat expectations

I bought it reconditioned from the US for around $90000. I'm glad your not having issues with your machine. I think the anajet's are like the brothers and purpose built for the job. I would love to see one of these machine working.

I have had a DTG Machine for 1 year now. I have had problems with it for a year. Absolute nightmare it has bee.

HOWEVER

I had an engineer out recently who noticed that the RIP softwear had been installed incorrectly (on initial setup by the dealer) and this was leading to poor print quality. With abit of tweaking and softwear upgrading the printer is now incredible. I love the printer and as long as the problems stay away it will be a very good buy.

The washability of dark garments i find is very good.

Unfortunately alot of people seem to have problems with DTG but when it works well the results are very impressive.
