Hello,

I'm a new DTG Printer and I got a DTG job for 90 adult shirts and 6 youth. I don't have a Youth platen for my DTG Printer and I don't want to spend the $300 on the Youth Platen for 6 shirts!

I wasn't sure if anyone has ever tried to make a platen. I have the EasyTPrinters...

or if anyone is willing to print the 6 youth shirts for me. (Just PM me a quote)

You shouldn't need a youth platen..some painters tape and mouse pads you be suffice.

What your train of thought? Lower the platen down all the way and raise up the shirt with a mouse pad? and tape the edges down, I could totally see that working!

Yes, that would work. Since, it's only 6 you will have time to getting it right so make sure you have extra.

Mouspad or cardboad - we do that all the time with shopping bags printing. By the way how are you satisfied with easy T ?

Hello,

I love my EasyTPrinter! I was demoed many different printers and for me as a starter company the EasyT was the best chose.

I bought my equipment from American Screen Supplies they were awesome and any question I have had either American or Andy at EasyT has answered quickly.

The mouse pad is definitely the way to go. I use one on my heat press for my shirt tags.
