Ok..you are going to need to make sure that you keep all parts moist.
Capping station
Ink lines
Printhead
If you dry up the capping station especially the white part there is no recovering it.
If it's going to be awhile until you get all the replacement parts..flush all the lines.keep flush in the lines and fluid in the capping station.
You can run head clean and purges with 50% distilled water and 50% household ammonia. Do not keep in the lines for very long. Then a warm distilled waste flush to remove the ammonia.
