So we thought we cleared the problem with the Media Settings error but it seems the printer does it again.

We printed 20 shirts yesterday, no problem. Today after the first white pass the printer throws MEDIA SETTINGS error again followed by an E=012 error (which means unknown error!).

Then, when we try to shutdown, it says "Manually lock" which we do using the screw. When we power it on again it gives us another Error since the carriage does not cycle left to right (E=006).

What can we do?

Hi ,to be going on with error code 0006 is apg cycles no signals from cr encoder ,could be the y axis encoder wheel behind the control panel (careful of cset when taking casing off)

when there is an error on shut-down saying manual-lock move the carriage into the middle of the printer bar,
switch the machine off at the mains wait a few minutes and switch back on and then press the power button (there's no need adjust the screw in the capping station this can disrupt the timing)
