Dryer options for a 782

1901 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  TPrintDesigner
Is anybody using a dryer with their 782? I've just starting to look at the options and some real life user feedback would be great.

It wont be used to cure anything else but DTG prints and needs to be fast enough to keep up with the printer.

Thanks

Dean,

Not sure what options you have in Europe, but the one dryer I see the most GT-782 owners with is the BBC Digi-Cure Dryer. This is the dryer that is in Brother's R&D facility and was designed to Brother's specs. Here is a link with a video of the digital settings - DTG Source. Digi-Cure Textile Conveyor Dryer Black Body Corp. The key to this dryer is the force air component and the two separate heating chambers.

Not sure if this helps you or not. You probably need to find a dryer that you can get some type of local support with. Maybe a distributor in the UK sells/supports this dryer?

Good luck in your decision!

Thanks for the reply, I have mailed them. The price is $3000 cheaper compared to the CALMAT dryer that the U.K Brother agent is selling.
