Okay, the only space I've got to reclaim/washout screens is in my back lot area which is outside. I'm soooo sick and tired of picking up a bucket after reclaiming two screens to dispose of the waste water properly! I guess I'm not the most innovative person in the world because I can't for the life of me figure out a drainage solution that doesn't involve either digging up the ground, or draining into the downspout. If anyone has had a similar problem, and tackled it, I'd love to hear what you did!

That is a good idea. My main concern is with environmental impact, so Ideally I'd like the waste water to go through a treatment plant. But I imagine they do something really similar to separate the waste from the water. I use FranMar "chemicals", PVC and Pthalate free, or water based inks mostly, so I don't even think my waste water is toxic...I don't know.

we need more ideas on this. i have an old bedroom made into a laundry room which doubles as my office. i don't think a washout booth in there is feasible. anyone have any other ideas?
we want this stuff down the drain and not in the ground right?
only thing i can think of is digging a 6' deep, 4' wide hole and putting a plastic 55 gal drum with like 1000 1/2'' hols in it down in the ground and bury it, put a small patch of concrete over it with a drain to the 55 gal drum. obviously use some filters. but it that not good for the earth?...they all say they are "drain safe"
ANY IDEAS AT ALL? PLEEEEEAASSSEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Graingers has whats called a Sink Tray system. Basically it's a sump pump in a 5 gallon sealed container. Water and waste go in, and the pump is quite power full, we used some hot tub flex tubing to run it over to a drain.
