Downloading HELP!!

So I heard some pretty good things about inkscape && I decided to download it for myself. Well..I get to the site and click to download and it tells me that my computer detected spyware && adware in the program and was a threat to my laptop. Does this program come with viruses? Or has anybody else gotten this message while trying to download inkscape.? I'm debating on whether I should download it or not.

No you may have downloaded the wrong version...

Inkscape. Draw Freely.

run your malware or virus protection first make sure nothing attached to the computer..

reboot your computer then d/l from this site

virus writers target popular downloads and install their payloads on dodgy sites.
