Just put this design together from a photo.

Mixed media
I love my boxer 160mm x 186mm.
SS6 1117 stones, diameter holes 2,488mm.
Paw, red videoflex insert.

First approach with this technique, and Im quite happy with the result. A few passages;

While I was at it, I "recycled" the stencil, positive & negative for a vinyl application.

What software program do you use ?
Hi Jim I use coreldraw for the vector graphics, corel paint and photoshop elements for photo editing and creating the B&W stencil effect.
With this design I used the rStone macro for the rhinestone filling. Photo editing and design about 3/4 hour work, took more time in weeding the design template :-(.
Those designs are already on tees.

For the bling effects on the design simulation I use a a few of these free vector stars.

you can also find some free photoshop bling brushes.

Do you do any transfer printing with a inkjet ?
No, I’m working with a Roland printer/cutter doing heat transfer. Started adding rhinestone apparel to my inventory about 6 months ago.

Thanks for your kind words. I approached the rhinestone world with the help of this forum, tips and tricks all learnt here. When I manage to get online I always learn something new. I just try and pass on some info every now and then. roger.

How difficult was it to do the dog with the rstones. Did you have to correct much.
Very easy, it took me longer to clean the background of the photo 15 min. With the rStone macro, lets say about 8 min.
Adjusted manually about 10 stones and added about 20 stones in a few empty spaces.

I also use the Drawstone macro they are both not that expensive and do a great job for my purpose.
A few simple designs in my inventory done with these macros and the corel custom brush feature.

What did you use the custom brush feature for on rhinestones.

I done all the fonts and the frame of the 3 vespas with the custom brush feature. Maybe I use more the rStone macro for stone filling.
Very powerful IMHO, fills all the grouped shapes tidy and clean with some slight adjustments, with drawstone you have to ungroup and do more manual adjustments.

In drawstone I like the random feature and the stone editor, so I work with the exact stone diameter for my templates.
Can’t compare with other software, for the moment these 2 macros do a great job for my set-up.

I have a very small rhinestone inventory and production no custom. It’s more the fun in producing and creating rhinestone apparel, I really relax when I sit down and start a new project.

I love T Shirts !! My dream would be to screen print !! I'm the kind of person who learns by doing.I watch a lot of You Tube so I can try to learn new things.I had surgery that didn't turn out well so my whole world crashed and now I'm stuck at home with nothing to do but watch days go bye. When I first went on disabiliy I had to sell most of my equipment like my Epson 9800 that was used 3 times,Vinyl Cutter,Cameras, video cameras and sold it for half.I had a small business besides my real job taking photos of sports teams and doing their tee shirts. After I got hurt I lost it all.I was using Transfer Express which is great if you can't screen print your own stuff.

So I'm trying to see if I can come up with ideas to make thinkings to sell on ebay so I have a purpose.I know have to work with a R1800 and want to buy a bulk system but everyone I keep asking tells me to buy this one or no buy this one so I don't know what to do and then I don't know what ink to buy to make heat transfers,I use to use dye sub ink but sold all of that after I got hurt and needed the money so it's to expensive to buy that right now.

My other problem which is the biggest is trying to learn how to create designs, without designs you have nothing.

Thank You so much for you kind words and God Bless You

Well there is no such thing as coincidence. You were brought here for a reason. Passion for wanting to do something and a love for it will make it a lot of fun and so much not like work.
If you ask here you will definitely get answers. I'm more than happy to be of help on screen printing as long as you don't preface a question with, "I know this is a dumb question..."
Haaa-haaaa!!! (I'm serious)
You can PM me if you want. If you become a pest I will tell you to step off ;)

I don't have the the money anymore to purchase all the equipment, but it doen't hurt to dream.I originally just wanted to tell you that your work is amazing!!! Don't think I have anything you can help me with that I can think of but Thank You for being a kind and wonderful person !
I have to try to figure out how to take the design in my head and get it on to the computer so I can print it.I'm not very good with photoshop and that is the key, creating a design is my problem if I can figure that out I'm on my way to producing something I could sell.
My son is a huge fan of the group "Phish" and he is going to a concert in Atlantic City this summer and trying to think of a design to put on a shirt for him. I just bought Image Clip Transfer paper so I'm excited to see if it works,it's not screen printing but it's the next best thing.
I live in Syracuse and we have a company called Holy Shirt and they do all the shirts for Syracuse University and they come up with amazing shirts and the last forever.I just think screen printing is cool and looks like a blast.

Thaks Again and I really Appreciate all your help!!!!! God does put people in your life for a reason I believe that !!! Your an amazing person

Thank You
