Here is my first "finished" sublimation t-shirt. It looks like I am burning the shirt. I've tried different heat temps and lengths and almost no pressure and I keep getting lines along the edge where the heat press was.

I washed the shirt twice to see if the lines disappeared and they did not.

Does anyone have a suggestions on how to stop this?

Can't really tell from the photos..why are you asking? Someone say something about it?

Take a look at this link and see if you can see the pictures better. The platen leaves marks all around the edge.

Anything g with polyester needs to be at 325 degrees or less

Lines are normally left from the paper.

You need bigger paper or a pillow. Tear the edge or Use crafty scissors with a wiggle edge to increase the length of the paper edge so that the force gets spread over a bigger distance.

Really you need bigger paper than your press size, though.

Use high temp soft pad for sublimation that is bigger than the image but less the size of the paper so that the paper
edges will not leave marks.
