I am completely guessing here but there have been alot of spam posts as of late and Rodenry said that he was going to add a few more keywords to try to catch it so maybe one of your keywords triggered it or something because I never knew posts had to be approved before being posted. Or like the others have said could have something to do with your post count. I'm sure it will be cleared up.
Yes, for new members, if they use certain words that are commonly used by spammers, their message gets automatically moderated to help cut down on the spam that gets through.
So no, in general, posts aren't approved before posting. But in a very small percentage of cases with new members under a certain amount of posts, if they use words commonly used by spammers, then their message may get caught in the spam filter (much like it would with an email spam filter)
