Does an oki data 6100 work with a Mac

Does anyone have a oki data 6100 and uses it with a Mac? I bought a used 6100, and thought it was compatible but oki data hasn't made a driver for the Mac since 06. Has anyone been able to get their macs to talk to their oki printer?

Please share. I don't want to have to start over and buy a new system.

I think you are out of luck...one weakness of the current Mac system is the lack of support for a number of external devices...such as printers...when Mac was first out, they made printers...easy to use but when they stopped that, I had fits in getting printer support for my wife's computers...laptop and desktop...
I don't have the 6100 but I have the Oki C330dn for almost a month now and it prints well with my iMac...

I should have bought that model. I researched for a long time and then we get it and it doesn't work. Argh!
Have you contacting OKI to see what your options are?...

IDK if this would work, but you can install bootcamp for free on your mac and buy windows7 and install that. This is basically having windows operating system on your mac.

that's a good idea. I will try that tomorrow. Hope it works! I'll let you know.:)
Hopefully it will work.

Good luck.
running boot camp will work fine IF you have a mac with the intel chip...not the Motorola

Does this mean we have to get all our programs like photoshop, ai, etc. need to be converted over to Windows too? If so, I don't think I want to pay for that.
If you have illustrator and photoshop for mac, you only can use it for Mac OS not windows.
