I haven't quite understood the purpose of off contact tabs. I see them being used in a lot of the instructional videos online. However, I have yet to see any presses that don't have an off-contact adjustment.
What are the benefits of using the tabs. Is it because the frames flex?
Is this why none of the automatic presses have neck cut-outs? Since they clamp on both sides you don't need a neck cut out for your off-contact tab to hit.
